Aidhan's Topic Challenge

Presenting your homework can always be a challenge, especially trying to find a way so that everyone can understand it.  Aidhan presented his Topic Challenge by creating a model and writing up his information.  An interesting topic that also sparked the interest of others.

First Aid

Learning what to do if someone was hurt in our playground was the lesson of the day.  Many of us are peer mediators and we are always helping others.  It was important that we knew what to do to help other children.  We learnt a range of things.  How to stop bleeding,  fix a sprain or just to give a kind word .  It was all important to know.  Have a look at some of the different things that we got up to.

Egg-traordinary Day

Eggs, eggs, eggs. Everwhere you looked you could see and smell children cooking with eggs.  Finding different ways that eggs could be changed was our focus.  Boiling, omeletes, poached and scrabled were the food of choice .By the end of the morning, everyone was full.  It was great to have a go at cooking the eggs in different ways.

Museum Visit on Chemical Changes

Our visit to the Otago Museum saw the class discovering the changes that a range of chemicals can go through.  We saw clouds being made, sounds being created with baking soda and sending coke cola into the air.  Learning is fun when you get  stuck into a task.

Wheels Day

Wheels Day is something we all look forward to each Friday.  We scooter ,bike or skateboard around the netball court smiling as we show off our tricks.  Check out some of the moves we have been teaching each other.
