BIKE/ROAD SAFETY
Wheels
turning, breaks screeching, traffic lights flashing!
That was the
beginning of an afternoon of fun with bike safety.
We have been
looking at Road and Bike safety.
We had to
watch videos about being safe on the
road.
We had to
learn the rules about indicating and when it is good to turn with our bikes.
Finally the time came when we got to ride our bikes. First we had to listen to the instructions
from Constable Somerfield. It was very responsible
work. Not only did we have to be responsible on the road but respectful as
well. Some people had to share a bike because there wasn’t enough. After showing off our road rules it was time
to put our bikes away. Our skills can
now be seen when we ride to and from school.
