Mathaletic’s
On Wednesday
28th August Mrs Staynes took s group of mathematician’s to the
Regent theatre. There, these students
were taking part in the annual matheletics competition.
We got there
in time to see the Year 5 students participating in the last few questions to
their competition. It was our time to
compete. We took our place, choose a
runner and we were off.
We answered
many of the questions. Some were very
difficult and we had to make sure we listened to each other about the answers
given.
Finally the
winners were announced. Although we
didn’t win we enjoyed the competition.
